Job Description	Required Technical skills: Hardware Responsible for support of all desktop PCs and laptops and peripherals. Responsible for staying informed on all hardware upgrades within our environment. Overall knowledge includes but not limited to: Desktop PCs, laptops, tablet PCs, printers, scanners, Modems, NIC, sound cards, CDROM/DVD and burners, memory, zip drives, Digital cameras Support for all licensed software, installing and troubleshooting all software 'Break-Fix' issues. Overall knowledge of all current site-licensed software including (but not limited to): Operating Systems Windows 9x, Windows NT, Windows 2000, XP, Microsoft Active Directory Network Technology Understanding LAN topology, protocols, routers, hubs & switches. Knowledge of IPX, TCP/IP, FTP, NFS, DNS, DHCP/BOOTP and TCP/IP addressing. All Microsoft Applications MS Office Suites, MS Project, Visio, Outlook 2002, IBM Lotus Notes, Lotus Organizer Right fax, Win fax, LAN Software NT McAfee Anti-Virus, Adobe Products Acrobat Reader/Writer. WinZip & Ghost.
Desired Profile	Strive to design and manage the workstation desktop image down to a single image that will be deployed across all locations and departments within the WNS environment.. Manage the desktop infrastructure aspects of technology migration including capacity planning, security, and performance management. Maintain awareness of industry direction and operating systems
